Human Skull - nasal bone

The probe is pointing to the nasal bones of the skull (along their common suture). The nasal bones are 2 small oblong bones that vary in size and form in different individuals. The nasal bones are located side-by-side at the middle and upper part of the face, and form, by their junction, "the bridge" of the nose.
