Human Skull - temporal process (of zygomatic bone)

The probe is pointing to the temporal process of zygomatic bone. Barely visible in this photo is the bone suture to the right of the probe, which indicates the fusion border between the zygomatic and temporal bone, forming the "zygomatic arch". That is, the zygomatic arch is formed by the union of the zygomatic process of temporal bone (a bone extending forward from the side of the skull, over the opening of the ear/external acoustic meatus) AND the temporal process of zygomatic bone (the side of the cheekbone).
